Regulatory Compliance

SULTANOX PERFUMES is committed to compliance with:

3. Delivery & Shipping Policy

3.1 Delivery Area

  • UAE: Standard delivery to all Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, etc.)
  • International: Shipping via DHL/Aramex (DDP or DDU terms based on destination)

3.2 Delivery Timelines

  • UAE Standard: 2-4 business days
  • UAE Express: 24 hours (within Dubai)
  • International: 5-10 business days

3.3 Shipping Costs

  • Free Shipping: Within the UAE for orders over AED 150
  • Flat Rate: AED 20 applies to orders below AED 150

3.4 Risk and Title
Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery to the shipping carrier. For high-value blended perfumes, insurance is recommended.

3.5 Supplier Obligations
Under Article 6 of Cabinet Decision No. 66/2023, suppliers must provide consumers with an invoice containing: name and address of the supplier, date, description of commodity, quantity, price in local currency, warranty period, and commercial registration number. Invoices must be issued in Arabic, with other languages permissible alongside.

4. Return & Refund Policy

In accordance with UAE Consumer Protection Law No. 15/2020 and Cabinet Decision No. 66/2023

4.1 Consumer Rights (Defective Products)

Under Federal Law, consumers have the right to return a product if it is:

  • Defective or damaged
  • Not matching the description or sample
  • Non-compliant with safety standards

Limitation Period: Under the new UAE Civil Transactions Law (effective January 1, 2026), you have one (1) year from the date of delivery to claim a hidden defect (latent defect), extended from the previous six-month period.

4.2 Standard Return Process (Non-Defective / Change of Mind)

  • Window: 14 days from the date of receipt
  • Condition: Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging with the security seal intact. We cannot resell used hygiene products.

4.3 Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method
  • Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

4.4 Exclusions (Non-Returnable)
Custom blended perfumes (bespoke “made-to-order” scents) are final sale due to health and safety reasons, unless they arrive damaged or have a manufacturing defect.

5. Warranty & Quality Conditions

5.1 Guarantee of Conformity

SULTANOX PERFUMES warrants that all goods conform to the specifications of the sale contract and are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the purchase date (in addition to your statutory rights). Under UAE law, service providers are required to offer a warranty on their services for a minimum period of six months from the date of delivery or completion.

5.2 What does the warranty cover?

  • Deterioration: If the scent profile turns “off” or rancid (excluding natural vanilla/amber darkening) within 6 months due to a manufacturing issue
  • Atomizer Failure: Mechanical failure of the spray mechanism

5.3 What is NOT covered?

  • Damage caused by improper storage (direct sunlight, extreme heat), misuse, or accidents
  • Natural oxidation or color change of natural ingredients (e.g., vanilla, oud oils which naturally mature)
  • Normal wear and tear of packaging

5.4 Laboratory Standards
All SULTANOX products are formulated to be free of Methanol, Bitrex, and heavy metals in compliance with Dubai Municipality Laboratory standards.

5.5 Warranty Documentation
Under Article 11 of the Consumer Protection Law and Cabinet Decision No. 66/2023, suppliers must provide consumers with a warranty document. Failure to do so may result in administrative penalties.

6. Privacy & Data Security Policy

Compliant with Federal Decree-Law No. 45/2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL)

6.1 Legal Framework

This Privacy Policy is established in accordance with:

  • Federal Decree-Law No. 45/2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL) – a comprehensive framework for safeguarding personal data in the UAE
  • Federal Law No. 15/2020 on Consumer Protection, Article 7 – which stipulates that personal data collected from consumers must be protected and not used for unauthorized marketing purposes

6.2 Data Collection & Use

  • We collect name, address, and contact details solely for order fulfillment and legal invoicing (VAT reporting)
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit prior consent

6.3 Data Security

  • We utilize secure payment gateways
  • We do not store CVV numbers or full credit card data
  • Controllers are mandated by the PDPL to apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption, to ensure data protection

7. Website Terms of Use

7.1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the SULTANOX PERFUMES website or placing an order via phone/WhatsApp, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to update these terms without prior notice.

7.2 Intellectual Property
All formulations, trademarks, and trade dress associated with SULTANOX are our property. Any reverse engineering of our “Blending Service” recipes for commercial duplication is strictly prohibited.

7.3 Eligibility
By purchasing, you confirm you are over 18 years of age or purchasing under the supervision of a guardian. Our products are for external use only.

7.4 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of Dubai.

8. Perfume Blending & Customization Services

As a licensed Perfume Blending Service provider:

  • Consultation: We offer in-store (Deira) and remote consultation to assess olfactory preferences
  • Allergen Disclosure: In compliance with Dubai Municipality standards, we will disclose the presence of any of the 26 regulated allergens if they constitute more than 0.001% of the formulation
  • Batch Traceability: Every custom blend is assigned a batch number linked to a Perfume Analysis Report and Certificate of Analysis (COA) available upon request
  • Private Label (OEM): We offer contract manufacturing for brands. Clients receive a “Manufacturing Agreement” and necessary documentation for Montaji Product Registration

*PERFUMES – Cancellation Policy
This policy is established in accordance with UAE federal laws, including Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and Cabinet Decision No. 66 of 2023 (the Executive Regulation of the Consumer Protection Law).
1. Order Cancellation
1.1 Standard Orders (Ready‑made Perfumes)
Customers may cancel their order within 14 days of placing it, provided that the order has not yet been dispatched.
If the order has already been shipped, the cancellation request will be handled in accordance with the return policy set out below.
1.2 Custom‑Blended Perfumes (Bespoke / Made‑to‑Order)
Custom‑blended perfumes (signature scents created according to the client’s personal preferences) are final sale and non‑cancellable, non‑returnable for health and safety reasons.
This does not apply if the custom product arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect.
1.3 Wholesale / Corporate Orders (Private Label / OEM)
Cancellation of wholesale and contract manufacturing orders is governed by the specific terms of the Manufacturing Agreement signed between the parties.
Orders for which raw materials have already been procured or production has commenced are generally non‑cancellable.
2. Cancellation Process
2.1 How to Cancel

We will confirm whether your cancellation is approved within 2 working days of receiving your request.

4. Non‑Cancellable / Non‑Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for cancellation or refund:
Custom‑blended perfumes (already compounded to the client’s specifications)
Perfume products that have been opened or whose security seal is broken (hygiene reasons)
Damage caused by improper storage (exposure to direct sunlight, extreme heat)
Normal wear and tear of packaging
5. Supplier Obligations & Consumer Rights
Under Article 9 of the Consumer Protection Law, suppliers must establish and clearly communicate policies regarding refunds, returns, and cancellations.
Where a service or product is defective or does not conform to the agreed specifications due to the supplier’s fault, the consumer is entitled to request a re‑performance of the service or a refund.
For special‑category goods such as custom‑blended perfumes, the supplier is obliged to clearly inform the consumer before the sale that the item is non‑returnable and non‑cancellable.
